Studies estimate that the cement industry is responsible for close to 5% of the global emissions of CO2 generated by man. Reducing these emissions is therefore of the utmost priority for the industry.
From 1990 to date, Holcim Apasco has reduced by18% its CO2 emissions. Additionally, by the year 2008 we are seeking to reduce these emissions an additional 17%.
