Holcim Apasco was founded in Apaxco, State of Mexico, in 1928.

1964
In 1964, the Swiss group Holcim (formerly Holderbank), acquires participation in Apasco.

70's and 80's
In between the years 1970 and 1990, Holcim Apasco acquires Cementos Veracruz, the ready-mixed concrete division is created and expanded, and the Macuspana Plant begins operations.

|
90's
In the 90’s, Holcim Apasco acquires Cementos Acapulco, the Ramos Arizpe and Tecomán cement plants startup operations, and the Concrete Technological Center begins working.

2000 - 2002
During the first half of 2002, the second production line at the Ramos Arizpe plant starts up operations.
Regarding its presence in Central America, Holcim Apasco and Holcim create the company Holcim (Centroamérica) B.V., which has participation in cement companies in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama.

2003
Holcim integrates Holcim Apasco into its worldwide image unification strategy.
The result is a new image, which synthesizes Holcim’s global prestige and excellence with Holcim Apasco’s local recognition, experience and value.
